Get ready for winter as they did in the 19th century farming village of Flatbush. Join Prospect Park Alliance and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital for an afternoon of winter fun. Watch a master spinster spin wool into thread, and enjoy Dutch treats on our outdoor hearth made from a Lefferts family recipe. Enjoy pickled and preserved tastings with NYP Methodist, and last, but not least, a visit from Saint Nicholas on horseback, where children will be presented with treats and have a chance to feed his horse (at 3 pm).

St. Joseph by the Sea Football will be holding our annual Banquet and Auction to celebrate our incredible season, team and program. Dinner, speeches, awards and music are all included; there will be a cash bar available. The auction will feature dozens of prizes to auction off so bring your cash and good luck. All monies raised will go to the football program. All Varsity and JV players must attend ( and pay for a ticket), please wear slacks, shirt and tie. Family and friends are all encouraged to attend (business casual attire).
Please arrive by 5:45pm. Football players will have assigned seating , all other guests will have a first come first serve seating arrangement. There will be enough seating for all.

Other attractions include cultural performances and arts experiences, a holiday market and 60 international food vendors curated by The World’s Fare.

Established in NYC in 2013, CPAA North America is a leading producer of arts and entertainment experiences that promote and celebrate diverse cultures. Since 2013, the organization has co-produced events and programs at Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center. Organized by CPAA North America, Inc., Hello Panda Festival is a worldwide winter festival that celebrates the holiday season with giant lantern displays, entertainment, food, modern art exhibits, interactive games, cultural arts and handicrafts, a holiday market and live stage performances. From December to January, Hello Panda Festival will light up New York City, covering Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. It is the largest lantern show in New York’s history, with over 120 lantern sets displayed at Citi Field in NYC, in addition to events in Vernon, NJ and Catskill, NY.

Comedy Evening is a completely free comedy show in the heart of the West Village featuring comedians who have appeared on Comedy Central, TruTV, Late Night with Stephen Colbert, and more!
The show takes place in the downstairs/basement lounge of the venue. Please note that you must be 21+ to attend as the venue is a bar. While there is no cover or item minimum for the show, it is recommended that you get a drink (soda, beer, wine, etc.) or food item to support the bar and help keep the show free.
Seating for the show begins at 7pm with the show starting at 7:30pm. Seating at the venue is limited and it is recommended that you get there before the show starts.
