Before America goes to the polls on November 5, you’re invited to join the four hosts of The Reason Roundtable—Reason magazine’s own Nick Gillespie, Katherine Mangu-Ward, Peter Suderman, and Matt Welch—in New York City for a no-holds-barred discussion of what this election means for the future of America.

This will be the hottest ticket in town, so grab your seat now! Doors for The Reason Roundtable Live at the Village Underground open at 6:00 p.m., and the four-way scrimmage starts at 6:30 pm SHARP. Tickets include admission to our after-party at 3 Sheets Saloon (134 W 3rd St)!

Statement of Need: The morbidity and mortality of cancer is still a public health crisis. Pancreatic cancer, in particular, has one of the worst survival rates. Increased knowledge of new treatment methodologies, new research being done in the disease and how to best care for the patient with Pancreas cancer are vitally important to improving the survival rate of patients with pancreatic cancer. Each year more and more research is being done in pancreatic cancer requiring physicians and advanced clinical providers to have knowledge of new medications used to treat the disease. New to cancer diagnosis and treatment is the use of molecular biology and genetic testing. It has been found that different molecular abnormalities of pancreatic cancer react differently to different medications to treat pancreatic cancer. Providing our learners with the extensive knowledge of molecular and genetic testing in correlation to the appropriate therapy to treat a pancreatic patient is of utmost importance. This conference will provide the opportunity for participants to increase their knowledge and competencies in the care and management of pancreatic cancer
Target Audience: This activity was planned by and for MDs, and PAs. All other members of the healthcare team who are interested in the field of Pancreatic Cancer, NPs, RNs, Residents, Fellows, Medical Students, and Northwell Retirees are invited to attend.
Program Objectives: All Northwell Health CME activities are intended to improve patient care, safety, and outcomes. At the conclusion of this conference participants should be able to:
– Review and analyze advances in the treatment of pancreatic cancer including newly available clinical trials…
