A Drinking Game NYC presents Elf・Weds, Dec 18・7:00pm Doors・7:30pm Show
About this Event
Classic movies – shaken, not stirred, and with a twist.
What’s “A Drinking Game”? Well, take your favorite 80s or 90s flick, mix in a live staged reading, add a dash of your favorite beverage, and you’ve got one hell of a cocktail.
Talented actors perform cult classics for a live audience. One night only. A new show every month–comedies like The Princess Bride, Back to the Future, and Ghostbusters.
Each movie comes with a list of buzzwords and phrases–when you hear one, a bell rings and everybody drinks! The actors are in on the fun, too. Plus, when someone says a name, the actor playing that character has to drink. So as the evening progresses, the show’s bound to get a little wacky.”

Don’t miss acclaimed actress, singer and author LEA MICHELE in concert for a series of live performances in New York City, bringing her first-ever Christmas album to fans for three shows at The Concert Hall at New York Society for Ethical Culture on Thursday, December 19, Friday, December 20, and Saturday December 21, 2019 at 7:30pm.
Inspired by her fond memories of growing up in New York City, Lea has captured the unique magic of the city’s holiday spirit throughout the 11-track collection, which is available everywhere now.
Christmas in The City (Sony Music Masterworks) features star-studded collaborators handpicked by Lea, including fellow Glee alum Darren Criss, Spring Awakening costar Jonathan Groff and Broadway favorite
Cynthia Erivo. Reuniting with Glee songwriters/producers Adam Anders and Peer Astrom, the album marks their first collaborative project since working together on the hit TV show. With timeless hits like “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Silent Night,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and more, as well as “Christmas in New York,” a new original co-written by Lea, Adam and Peer, Christmas in The City delivers the magic of the holidays in true New York style.
Since making her Broadway debut at just eight years old in Les Misérables, Lea Michele has continued to be a powerhouse on both stage and screen as well as a chart-topping solo artist and New York Times bestselling author. Following her critically acclaimed performance as “Wendla” in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Spring Awakening, she made her television debut as perfectionist firecracker “Rachel Berry” on Ryan Murphy’s critically acclaimed, award-winning musical series Glee. The breakout role earned the actress both a Teen’s Choice Award and People’s Choice Award, as well as Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Lea’s love for music has always been a focus point in her career, signing to Columbia Records and making her solo album debut with 2014’s Louder, which notched a Top 5 position on the Billboard 200 chart upon its release. Lea added best-selling author to her resume that same year, releasing her first book entitled “Brunette Ambition,” which quickly became a New York Times Best Seller. She released her second book, “You First,” the following year. In 2017, she released her sophomore album Places and hit the road for a series of sold-out North American tour dates as well as a co-headlining slot on the LM/DC Tour alongside fellow Glee alum Darren Criss.

Above & Beyond New Year’s Eve 2020
About this Event
There is no place on the planet as exciting to spend NYE as New York City. On Tuesday, December 31, titans of the electronic music genre ABOVE & BEYOND will ring in 2020 with a special headline show at an incredible cavernous location in the Bronx–the 60,000 sq foot New York Expo Center.
Presented by Above & Beyond’s most trusted label for quality music Anjunabeats and New York nightlife impresario DEG Presents (formerly RPM Presents), Jono, Tony and Paavo return to one of their favorite cities for the biggest party of the year.
Above & Beyond have crystallized something that lay at the heart of everything they’ve achieved over their 17 years together. From developing that groundbreaking radio show to touring the world’s best clubs and most illustrious venues; from establishing a thriving, multi-artist label to building a peerless catalogue of artist albums; from creating iconic dance anthems to curating soulful acoustic rerubs, one thing stands out. That is: Above & Beyond have carved out a unique space in music and culture, one that reaches far beyond their electronic roots. In so doing, Jono, Paavo and Tony have created something special: a common ground where all sorts of people and ideas can come together. Celebration, kinship, community – it’s the A&B way.
