What Is Blog Haus? Blog Haus was a cultural convergence of electronic music, indie rock music, fashion and technology. From 2007 to 2010 we saw the emergence of artists such as Justice, LCD Soundstyem, MGMT, and many others from the world of electronic and indie music, who brought a new dance music genre to our dance floors. It was an incredibly exciting time as every day, new tracks were feverishly shared on music blogs and even more feverishly downloaded by hipster djs to play at next weekend’s party. The sounds of distorted disco bass lines, French touch, electroclash, dance rock and techno, fueled years of the craziest parties – swallowing up indie kids and house heads alike into the new fashion-forward, inclusive, underground scene. Sadly, the days of blog haus are over, but the undeniably amazing music lives on and it is time to celebrate this wonderful genre once again.
For this special event, we’ll be joined by UFFIE (of Ed Banger Records), who will be playing a throwback blog haus DJ set. Plus Rough Justice will be playing a special late nite Ed Banger Records tribute set. Alex English and Flying Horse will also be playing.
