The International Ethiopian Evangelical Church (IEEC) in Washington, DC and Next Generation cordially invite you to “Family Worship & Fun Night” on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 from 4-8PM.
Proceeds from the family event will go toward the expansion of the Joshua Youth Academy, in Debre Zeit, Ethiopia.
IEEC built the Joshua Youth Academy in Debre Zeit in 2001 and supports 62 children by providing food, clothing, healthcare, and most importantly education. About 10 students are fully provided financial support to continue college education. Some of the children are supported for all their expenses while staying with their close relatives.
Having acquired additional property adjacent to the academy, the church intends to expand with more classrooms to allow room for neighboring communities to also attend the school. In the near future there is a plan to accept 110 more orphan children by providing basic needs to continue their education.
