Join Orbis as we head off on the adventure of a lifetime to the 2017 Great Ethiopian Run!!! ??
Over the past eight years we have raised almost €750,000 through participating in The Great Ethiopian Run. Following on from this phenomenal history of success, we are delighted to be taking part once again in 2017. With your help, we can raise even more money for our sight-saving work in southern Ethiopia.
On Sunday 26 November 2017, over 40,000 people will take to the streets of Addis Ababa to take part in Africa’s BIGGEST road race, a challenging 10km run at 10,000ft above sea level. On the day, a huge variety of runners from all age groups and fitness levels take part. A carnival atmosphere takes over the city as the crowd surges forward.
Joining us at the 2017 Great Ethiopian Run means that you will be giving the gift of sight. As part of your trip, you will have the chance to witness Orbis at work in the local community. You will visit a local school, water station and witness how Orbis is making real change happen in southern Ethiopia.
