Native Soul pays Tribute to Clark Terry & Screening of “Keep on Keepin’ On”
A hard-swinging collaborative quartet, Native Soul has been a regular on the jazz album charts for over a decade. Featuring Peter Brainin (Saxophone), Noah Haidu (piano), Marcus McLaurine (bass), and Steve Johns (drums), they will present a special Charlie Parker Jazz Festival tribute to Clark Terry, with whom McLaurine played for more than 25 years.
Keep on Keepin’ On (2014)
A documentary that follows jazz legend Clark Terry over four years to document the mentorship between Terry and 23-year-old blind piano prodigy Justin Kauflin as the young man prepares to compete in an elite, international competition.
Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. You should arrive before 5:30 p.m. to get your spot. Reservations are not taken, so space is available on a first come first served basis. All are welcome!
