Calling all members of the Endometriosis Community:
Patients and Practitioners are encouraged to unite for this collaborative platform of excision surgeons, physicians, endometriosis advocates, physical therapists and community members to discuss the future directions of endometriosis care and enhance treatment paradigms of this devastating disease. Invited participants include Heather Guidone BCPA, Dr. John F Dulemba, Dr. Jeffrey Braverman, Dr. Malcolm Mackenzie, Dr. Antonio Gargiulo, Dr. Karen Tang, Event Co-Chair Dr. Andrea Vidali, Dr. Kenneth Barron, Drs. Iris and Laurence Orbuch, Dr. Allyson Shrikhande, Dr. Holly Herman, PT DPT, Dr. Taayaba Ahmed, Event Co-Chair Dr. Sallie Sarrel PT ATC DPT, Dr. Jessica Drummond PT PhD, Dr Naomie Elhadad PhD, Dr. Hannah Schoonover, PT DPT, Dr. Mark Zoland, Shannon Cohn and Casey Berna of Endo What?, representatives from the Endo Co, Endo Invisible, Nancy’s Nook administrators and more.

From training the Generalist to learning how to improve your life with endometriosis, this conference is an entire day of endometriosis education and discussions. Panels will include building a referral network for properly treating the disease, examining the origins and paradigms of endometriosis, fertility and endometriosis, and a lightning round discussion of multiple causes of pain in people with endometriosis and pelvic pain. We will examine the multi-disciplinary treatment of the disease, including reasons when to choose excision as the treatment of choice and how to address remaining pain post-excision. Our dynamic panel style event will also explore the critical role of the patient’s voice and endometriosis advocacy in the management of this whole body disease.

We will also be one of the first endometriosis events to tackle safety, sexuality, and gender inclusivity among the endometriosis population.

Beginning with recognizing the signs and symptoms to learning how to navigate a diagnosis as a patient or practitioner trying to enable quality care for your own patients, to exploring the autoimmune component of fertility, the gut microbiome connection and the role of the central nervous system, bladder and occult hernias, this interactive event is for the patient with endometriosis, the practitioner treating endometriosis, and everyone interested in improving the quality of life for anyone struggling with this disease.
